Happy New Year! Happy 2015!!!

Hope. That along with Expectancy are the two words for 2015 for me.

The holidays are usually pretty tough for me, always has been for as long as I can remember, but I love Christmas and everything about it, this year was especially difficult. I had expected things to be different, and they weren't. I was disappointed. So a couple days after Christmas the Spirit whispered the word, Hope onto my heart. "....suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." Romans 5:3-4 (NIV)

There are countless other verses in the Bible that speak of hope and the Webster dictionary describes hope as a transitive verb; to have expectancy of obtainment and to expect with confidence.

Sometimes its difficult to have hope, isn't it? Dreaming of something that we desire and yet, seeing no result. But, do we truly not see any results? I think like the Bible verses says, we have and continue to persevere and that does create a change, we are strengthening our character and the thing that we are dreaming of may not manifest right away, but in time it will. Hope, the expectation (with confidence) of obtaining that which we want. I love the power I feel when I know that I am expecting to receive what I have been dreaming and desiring for myself.

How do we stay confident? Again, believing in what you are dreaming of will come. It doesn't matter how its going to happen or when it will happen, just knowing and believing that it will. Within that knowledge is empowerment and the power to continue moving forward until you have manifested your desire. It isn't easy to hold onto the hope. The world will try and take it, rob you of it, even attempt to destroy it, but, you are highly capable and you deserve to receive all that you dream of. Hold onto your hope and be in expectancy, but, don't look for it, but stay active.

You have the power ladies, and its in them shoes!!
